The Vaccines Sub-Committee of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics is a focal point for statisticians working in vaccines research worldwide.  It consists of:

  • A sub-committee of the ISCB whose members are statisticians in vaccines research from academia, industry and regulatory agencies, from both North America and Europe

  • A mailing list of some 300 vaccines statisticians in all parts of the world

Mission

  • Create a professional platform for vaccines statisticians

  • Discuss relevant statistical and methodological developments

  • Establish a relationship with regulatory agencies and international organizations

  • Discuss new regulatory guidelines and comment upon draft guidelines

  • Encourage statistical research and professional development

  • Creation of working groups for the application of statistical methods in vaccine research

  • Maintain a list of papers on statistical methods in vaccines research

  • Organize symposia on statistical methods in vaccines research
